I have an opportunity at the end of April to be part of an expedition in Nicaragua. The goal is to be the first people to circumnavigate the country on motorcycles, create trails, and link together rural areas for medical transport.

I don’t think I can afford to make it in time. :(

Late nights, power tools, grease and grim … I love it!

People who smoke should not be eligible for food stamps. I watched the couple in front of me at the grocery store use all their cash to purchase a carton of cigarettes. They then used food stamps to purchase their milk and baby food.

The money the government spends of food subsidies for these people could could be better spent sending them to nicotine addiction clinics, thus saving the family $50 a week on cigarettes. This would give them money to to buy groceries as well as provide a healthier environment for their children.

Somewhere in WA – forget who took it.

Things that excite me:

1.) The 2008 Alaska Ferry System Schedule being released.

YES! Scheduling can now commence.

Blitzen Trapper – Wild Mountain Nation

“Ships are safest when in the harbor. But then, that’s not what ships are for.”

The Boston area offers nothing that excites me anymore. There isn’t anything here I haven’t done, seen, or experienced. Hamilton in particular is one of the most dull environments I’ve ever endured. If I hear one more commercial for dog behavioral medications I’m going to lose it.

Get me somewhere new!

The infamous Wayne Weber.

“I became friends with someone just because they rode motorcycles from no-place to no-where.”
